We live in times of great change. Astrology can be enormously helpful in navigating the 21st century.

Leading the "disbelievers" are traditional scientists, even though the first astronomers were astrologers. The new physics supports the ancient astrological doctrine "as above, so below," or the idea that there is a correspondence between the planets and our lives on Earth. The vast majority of believers are the people who observe the workings of Sun-sign astrology in their relatives and friends: the home-body Cancer who observes the assertive Aries as being quite different from him- or herself. The sign the Sun was in when you were born is definitely important; however, so is its actual placement in the sky, as well as the position of the Moon and other planets and their relationship to each other. An astrologer uses a map of the heavens at the moment of your birth to gain insights into character and destiny. The current movements of the planets in the sky and the angles they make to your birth chart are just one of the many tools that are considered when forecasting. A criticism of the study of planetary cycles is that power is given away to mythical and immeasurable planetary forces; in actuality, this knowledge is empowering through the recognition of the quantum physical correspondence between human experience and our outer world. As psychiatrist Carl Jung believed, that which is unconscious becomes fate, the wise astrologer incorporates this understanding to guide you toward intelligent making choices that are in tune with the seasons of your life. There is no better tool for "objectivity" than astrology, but it is not an excuse for inaction. It is a tool to live life to its fullest and a holistic beginning to understanding its mystery and meaning. |
