The Elements of Astrology is for those who are new, or those who wish to review, the essential building blocks of the language of the heavens, upon which all astrological knowledge is based. As Carl Jung said, "whatever is born in a moment of time has the qualities of that moment in time," and your birth chart, a map of the heavens at the moment of your birth, is representative of the energetic blueprint of your lifetime. It is the single most important chart to which all other areas of astrology are intimately connected, including any relationships or forecast analysis. This class will prepare you to delineate charts using your own words and worldview. The way you truly learn astrology is by reading charts. Here you will learn about your own chart and much, much more than just your ABC’s! Eight classes: $200.

Astrological Forecasting

Transits, Progressions, Solar Arc Directions, Solar Returns, Lunar Returns -- the sign of a good astrologer is knowing how to separate what is important from what is not. Utilizing midpoint theory and a more thorough examination of the natal chart, this class will give an overview and show the use of techniques through example case studies. The last class will be devoted to participant’s chart interpretation. Four classes: $100.

Reinhold Ebertin, 1901-1988, was a student of Alfred Witte, the founder of Uranian astrology. Ebertin distilled the complexity of the Uranian system with its Transneptunian Points to the use of traditional planets, the 90 degree dial, 45 degree graphic ephemeris and half sums or midpoints. His use of these materials was brilliant. For those unfamiliar with 45 or 90 degree analyses, this method reduces all hard, action-producing aspects so they are visible on a wheel or graph. Because of this simplification, a powerful means of analysis was created using the basis of Uranian Astrology, planetary symmetry. This class will cover the writings and work of one of the most brilliant astrologers of the 20th Century. Eight classes: $200.
